Pan-Kom Press
Pan-Kom Press was founded in 2025 as “Prismakrom”, and was my space to experiment and display as an artist and creator.
Now, that space continues, as a more matured version of that original project I founded.
I’ve been creating things for as long as I can remember: art, writing, photography, and music were pastimes that I valued greatly when I was younger. They’ve since become what I wish to be a serious thing for me, and something I can contribute to the world.
About Pan-Kom:
This site is one of my personal projects that I work on when I’m not busy. This means that my contributions here will be (unfortunately) sporadic and unpredictable (besides things like subscribed publications).
I’ll be selling things on my shop pages (under “Products”), and posting free things (mostly writing, under “Public”) on this site as well.
About the site:
I’m a writer and student from Milwaukee, WI. I enjoy doing the things that I do and enjoy sharing them (to an extent), and thus I’d prefer for my work to be known more so than myself.
I’ll incorporate personal details into my things (as most artists do), but I don’t really intend for me as a person to be the center of this; this space is for my work.
About me:
WRITING
WRITING
I’ve been writing independently since I was 12 years old. I discovered my interest in it in the 5th grade, and picked it up more once the pandemic was in full swing.
Publishing my work has always been a challenge for me due to a combination of disorganization and self esteem issues, but I’ve been pushing back against those factors and working to get my writing out and into the world.
I mostly write short-form fiction, but I also like to occasionally publish opinion pieces and things about the world we live in. I believe it’s important as an artist to platform both the art that you want to create, and the art that needs to be created.
ART
ART
Art has been a constant thing in my life for as long as I can remember. For the longest time in elementary school, I was convinced that I wanted to be an illustrator or cartoonist of some sort.
I’ve rarely publicly shown my art (mostly because I don’t make art all that often), but as I get back into it, I’ve decided that platforming it wouldn’t hurt.
I do a lot of digital based art, but have recently been attempting to get into painting as well. My favorite topics to explore with my art include corporatism and advertising, political polarization, and heraldry.
PHOTOGRAPHY
PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography is a more recent addition to my set of interests, but is still an important part of what I do. For the past few years, I’ve been inspired by various people and pieces, which has influenced my frequency and style of photography.
I especially enjoy being in active, moving places while taking photos: football games, concerts, stage shows, and various areas of nature (among other places) are where I most enjoy operating.
I use a Nikon DSLR (sometimes with some fun attachments). While photography has fallen to a personal tertiary status in terms of my preferred art medium, it is nonetheless vital to my expression.
MUSIC
MUSIC
Independent music composition/creation has been an on-again off-again interest of mine since I learned my first instrument in the fourth grade. Since then, I’ve learned saxophone, low D whistle, and a number of synth instruments.
I am currently half of the duo/musical project Stillwater Circus, which I started in 2025 with my friend Teo Pheister. I’ll try and post some of our demos and finished songs to here when we make them.
Some of my favorite genres to experiment with include new wave, electronica, psychadelia, experimental/avant-garde, and traditional folk.
